I then ordered a variety pack of Only Natural wet food (which is their female only offering at the moment) directly from the brand’s website at full retail price.

About Natural Pets Only
Only Natural Pets started as a pet store in Boulder, Colorado. After its inception in 2002, the company opened several brick-and-mortar stores, established an e-commerce site, and amassed a catalog of nearly four thousand products. The brand was the first pet food company to receive B-Corp certification in North America, receiving recognition in 2019.
In addition to selling other companies’ products, Natural Pet also carries its own brand of pet food. In this review, we will focus only on the Natural Pet line of cat food.
Acquisition and Production
Only natural pet seems to source ingredients from around the world, but refuses to buy any from Chinese suppliers. The brand says it is committed to responsible, sustainable sourcing and uses ingredients approved by the Marine Stewardship Council and the Global Animal Partnership.
Their food is made by third-party manufacturers based in Thailand and the United States.

What Kinds of Cat Food Are Only Offered for Natural Pets?
Only Natural Pet used to offer a variety of cat foods that included frozen RawNibs and dry kibble. Today, the company offers only one line of wet cat food: PowerPate. They also carry a bone broth topper that is great for both cats and dogs, soothing cat chews, and several feline health supplements.
Although not human-grade food, Only Natural Pet claims its products are made with human-grade ingredients. In addition to regulating the quality of the ingredients used, this quality standard means that Only Natural Pet refuses to use certain ingredients, including animal digestion, animal fat, beef tallow, and other ingredients common in cat food.
Only Natural Pet Cat Food is made in collaboration with veterinarian Dr. Jean Hofve, a holistic veterinarian known for co-creating the Little Big Cat website.

How Much Does Only Natural Cat Food Cost?
It’s only a natural pet that is on the expensive side. This product recommends feeding cats one pound of wet food per pound of body weight. At an average cost of $0.70 per ounce, you’re looking at spending up to $7 every day to feed a 10-pound cat. It may be best to offer these foods as a supplement or supplement to their regular diet.
All in all, Is Only a Natural Pet a good choice?
While we really liked the original Natural Only edition, the brand’s current PowerPates wouldn’t be our top choice. They’re heavy on carbs and contain more plant-based ingredients than we’d like to see. That said, we appreciate the brand’s emphasis on sustainable sourcing and fair manufacturing practices.
