Levoit Core 600S and EverestAir are two of them the largest air purifiers from Levoitand in today’s article, I will compare all their specifications and test results in depth.
First things first: The Levoit Core 600S has CADR of 410 CFM (697 m³/h)while Levoit EverestAir has CADR of 360 CFM (612 m³/h).
Both use three-stage filtration technologyit has many smart features, and works with the smart VeSync app.
Both are well-built devices with outstanding results in our performance tests, but there’s only one winner. Read on to find out which one!
Our Decision

To be honest, this is not easy to compare. But I have a winner, and so be it Levoit EverestAir.
It is soft, comes with many other features, uses a slightly better filterand showed slightly better performance in our odor removal test.
Apart from that, it is optimized for sound and has a washable front filterwhich, along with other mentioned features, makes it a better buying option.
The only drawback, and maybe a dealbreaker for some people, would be high value you will need to pay EverestAir.
If you have any questions about these two air purifiers, please feel free to ask in the comment section below the article.

Performance evaluation – Comparison
Considering their CADR and room installation, we tested the particle emission performance of these two devices in several different rooms.
But the most interesting thing is the test we did on it area 560 sq. ft. (52 m²) room, where they both improved the air quality 96%.
Particle Removal Test – A Comparison
We put the Levoit Core 600S and Levoit EverestAir to two separate tests and measured their performance using a Temptop laser particle meter.
This is an outstanding result and proof of the high-quality filtering technology as well The larger CADR of these two devices.
Not only that, they both perform very well in our daily use as well odor and smoke neutrality test.
I would say that the two Levoits performed almost equally, but I would give a slight edge to EverestAir, mainly due to the rectangular filter design and slightly better deodorization performance.
Sound Level Testing – A Comparison
Both of these Levoits came with them five fan speed and automatic mode as an additional operating mode.
We tested their noise levels at all speeds and compared the results.
Noise Levels – Comparison
Comparison of noise levels at all fan speeds between Levoit Core 600S and Levoit EverestAir air purifiers.
At low speed, the Levoit Core 600S produces a sound of 43.9 dBAwhile EverestAir is better developed, it only produces 40.1 dBA.
Not only that, but the Levoit EverestAir is also optimized for sound at high speeds. It only produces 63.2 dBAwhile the Core 600S produces 68.5 dBA.
| fan speed | Levoit EverestAir (dBA) | Levoit Core 600S (dBA) |
|---|---|---|
| Sleep mode | 40.1 dBA | 43.9 dBA |
| Speed 1 (Low) | 41.2 dBA | 46.8 dBA |
| Speed 2 (Medium) | 46.5 dBA | 51.2 dBA |
| Speed 3 (High) | 53.3 dBA | 58.7 dBA |
| Speed4 (Turbo) | 63.2 dBA | 68.5 dBA |
As you can see in the given chart, the Levoit Core 600S is louder per fan speed than the EverestAir.
So, it is easy to conclude that EverestAir is optimized for sound than the Core 600S.
Operating Costs – Comparison
Although the EverestAir and Core 600S are large air purifiers with large CADRs, they use well-tuned motors.
The Core 600S has 49W motor onlywhile EverestAir has 70W motor.
Monthly Energy Costs – Comparison
Comparison of monthly energy consumption costs for Levoit Core 600S and Levoit EverestAir air purifiers at all fan speeds.
This means that if you were to use these two devices at their maximum speed, 24 hours a day, for one month, your electricity bill would increase by approx. $5.34 in the case of EverestAir and approx $4.22 in the case of the Levoit Core 600S.
If you look at the chart provided, you will see that the Levoit Core 600S is best optimized for power consumption per fan speed.
| fan speed | Levoit EverestAir (W + $/month) | Levoit Core 600S (W + $/month) |
|---|---|---|
| stand by | 1.6W ($0.14) | 1.2W ($0.1) |
| Sleep mode | 4.8W ($0.42) | 4.1W ($0.35) |
| Speed 1 (Low) | 9.3W ($0.82) | 7.3W ($0.63) |
| Speed 2 (Medium) | 13.9W ($1.22) | 10.9W ($0.95) |
| Speed 3 (High) | 23W ($2.02) | 20.4W ($1.78) |
| Speed4 (Turbo) | 60.9W ($5.34) | 48.2W ($4.22) |
However, apart from the energy consumption, there is also the cost of the replacement filter, which needs to be replaced almost every 12 months in both casesalthough the manufacturer said that if EverestAir happens, you will need to replace it every 12 to 15 months.
The price of a replacement filter is slightly higher in the case of EverestAir.
After summarizing everything, I will say that the Levoit Core 600S is better made and affordable of annual maintenance than EverestAir.
