The list consists of Levoit VortexIQ and Levoit VortexIQ Pro. Both models are designed for hard floors and low-pile carpets and feature a 180-degree lay-flat design for cleaning under furniture. They also continue Levoit’s emphasis on HEPA filtration, a feature that has been a consistent part of the company’s wireless lineup and complements the brand’s broad reputation in the home air quality category.

NeoSight Green Light Detection Technology

The defining feature of the VortexIQ series is Levoit’s NeoSight bright floor lighting system.

According to the company, the 150-degree green light is designed to reveal dust and pet hair that may be difficult to see under normal lighting conditions. Levoit says lighting can make dust appear larger and more visible while cleaning, although results may vary depending on floor type and lighting conditions.

Green light dust detection systems are becoming more common in cordless cleaners as manufacturers look for ways to improve the visibility of debris on hard floors. In Vacuum Wars, we have seen similar lighting systems appear in a growing number of cordless vacuum releases in recent years, especially among premium and upper-midrange models.

First Thoughts of Vacuum Wars

This release is of particular interest to us because Levoit has already established a strong track record in the cordless vacuum category. In our tests, the Levoit LVAC-200 (see our review) has earned a reputation as one of the strongest values on the market and currently holds the position of Best Value Cordless Vacuum in Vacuum Wars’ June 2026 rankings. We also previously reviewed the LVAC-300 (see our review) and found both models to offer a competitive combination of performance, simplicity, and affordability.

The new VortexIQ series looks to build on that foundation while aadding several features that have become more common in high-end cordless vacuumsfeaturing green light dust detection, anti-tangle brushroll technology, and self-contained design.

We were also interested to see Levoit continue his emphasis HEPA filtration. While HEPA filtration is not new to the company’s vacuum system, it is consistent with the type that many consumers already associate with air cleaning products. That focus on filtration has been a consistent theme across Levoit’s range of floor care and air treatments.

When Vacuum Wars reviews these products, we will make our findings available in the cordless vacuum reviews section of this website. Advanced players can find a place in our list of top cordless vacuums.
