Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the Unreal Engine 5 reimagining of Lara Croft’s classic 1996 adventure, will officially launch on February 12 for the PS5.
The new trailer shows stages that have been completely revamped from the original, including “a lost valley in Peru” and “the crumbling ruins of Greece”.
The highlight for me? The return of the dinosaurs – some of them have feathers!
As previously reported in the leak, those who shell out more for the Deluxe Edition ($69.99) will get advanced access 48 hours early, starting on February 10th. The base edition will cost $59.99.

That’s right, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis really shows up during today’s Game Mode. We now have a leaked release date, courtesy of a pre-order Steam code spotted temporarily on Amazon by user Blue Sky.
Here is the main news: the game will be released on February 12, 2027. It seems that Amazon just couldn’t finish the game in time before GTA 6’s planned launch on November 19.
All pre-orders will come with an early unlock Survivor Outfit, inspired by the modern Tomb Raider games.
Those who purchase the Deluxe Edition will also unlock 48 hours of Early Access, enhanced unlocking of the Parisian Fugitive outfit, and a post-launch DLC story pack.
Expect to see a new trailer in just a few hours, during Sony’s live stream. You can watch that here.
Original story: Five new screenshots of the PS5 remake Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis have been accidentally added to the game. PS store page, which guarantees visibility during the present day Play mode.
The pictures show the main character Lara Croft in a variety of different situations, including facing feathered dinosaurs, which will make fans happy.
I love Lara’s character model, and the whole architectural design looks great in these new images.
While it may be an unrelated bug, I predicted the game would appear during the weekend playthrough, due to the franchise’s historical association with the PlayStation. That sounds like the key right now. I suspect we’ll get a release date today, too.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is, of course, a reimagining of the original PS1 game, designed to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary this year. It will be followed by the new game Tomb Raider: Catalyst, which will be released next year.
