List of Olympic Weightlifting Championships Made in the USA

2025 Updates: Added Weight It Out steel plates, F and F Steel shift plates, Micro Gainz steel shift plates, Rogue USA Olympic Plates, Ivanko urethane plates, USA-Iron plates, Le Master deep dish plates. Removed Kabuki plates (Kabuki stopped selling almost everything). Fixed some links.

These plates all meet the FTC’s requirements for the term “made in USA”, where all key components come from the US and all key processing to be done in the US.

Steel Plates

Rogue Deep Dish Plates

Released in 2020, these deep bowls are the only ones here made of ductile iron, a high-carbon iron alloy that is strong and resistant to corrosion. Because they are flexible, they cry a lot when you put them together.

Rogue USA Olympic Plates

Released in 2021. One of the only iron plate sets available that includes fine replacement plates up to 0.25 lb.

Rep Fitness Equalizer Plates

Equalizer plates made in the USA are released in 2023 to replace their previous Chinese-made version.

Weigh Iron Plates

They started in 2020 making only metal plates, known for the smallest possible design. In 2023 they came out with a cast iron version and later added several color options including a clear coat.

Initially they started with metal replacement plates and a few years ago they started offering steel plates, but only in kg size.

Crumb Bumper Plates

Crumb bumpers are made from rubber “crumbs” made by recycling old tires. If an item is recycled and processed in the USA, the new product is considered made in the USA, regardless of the country of origin of the original product.

Crumb bumpers are much denser than virgin rubber bumpers, making them much larger.

Hi-Temp Crumb Bumpers

Hi-Temp manufactures these bumpers for several companies, sometimes “white label” with the company name on the upper part as shown above Rogue, but always “Hi Temp Inc, Tuscumbia AL” on it. They vary in size, so check and make sure what you get.
