Add a cozy chic pairing to feel ready for the day…

I’ve been working in an office for over 10 years now, so if there’s one thing I know in this world – the dos and don’ts of working from home. Daytime TV?! Major no no, been there, done that (you did the job!!). But getting ready for the day in an outfit you feel good in?! 10/10 would recommend. So today I went through a new phase of Get to know each other* bringing you four clothing formulas to try when you’re at home this week; from a set that feels like pyjamas, to some wide leg denim that I really like, indeed recommend…

FIRST PLACE: Knitted Vest
This is one I’ve been enjoying lately, actually using a knit vest – like this Samuel Jumper* – as a layering piece (instead of wearing it alone during the warmer months). If you ever turn up the heater then Conrad T-Shirt* will work underneath, or just wear your favorite jumper as a base. I Wide Leg Pants* these are a indeed a nice piece of denim – low rise enough to be WFH, but something you’ll wear all week long (as advice from online sizing I’d go for your normal size for an oversized fit, or size down if you like a tight fit around the waist – I’m wearing a 12). Throw in some ballerinas* in case you need to go out, and a a bold earring* and ready to go.

SECOND DRESS: Comfies
There’s no better feeling than working from home in your pajamas. Now I’m not talking about the kind you sleep with. I’m talking about the types that exist too fancy to sleep in – these are your daytime pajamas. The ones you walk into when you’ve just gotten out of the shower in the morning. My advice would be to try to find a set that works well with your everyday wardrobe, so you can break them up and wear them separately and look for natural fibers for ultimate durability and comfort. I Maxence Jumper*again Lazarus Pants* both are 100% merino wool and tick all the boxes. Dress them up with close like this* and you’re on your way to a productive laptop day.

THIRD DRESS: Classic
If you still want that ‘office wear’ feel, but with just a few tweaks to make it more workable for WFH, here’s how. An oversized shirt is comfortable, whether you’re in the boardroom or sitting at your kitchen table – and Tomboy shirt* it’s classic for a reason (I like to size up for a billowy look). Try it with Ciara’s pants*, which is almost a legging/trouser hybrid – it has the shape of a crop opening but the feel of leggings. Throw a card* more if you feel a little cold, a bread*and he is beautiful an earring* and you will be feeling it polished.

FOURTH PLACE: Priority
When I saw this Andie Cardigan* I was thinking ‘I HAVE to include that!’. How cute?! Heavyweight and one piece for those you just want to snuggle up to. Grab your laptop – we’re going to the couch! Why not pair it with essentials you already have in your closet? Pop a vest top* underneath and wear it with your favorite wide leg pants*, add as a convenience hoop*again delightful apartment* with a little pattern – all those things in your closet that you just LOVE to wear.
