There are many ways to lock and unlock your door using Level Lock+ Connect]. The first, and most obvious, is the Level app. If you have an iPhone, you can use it to lock and unlock your door by tapping your phone on it. There are NFC Key Cards, also known as field communication key cards or fobs to be used as keys.
A keypad accessory (not included) can be added to the key, connected to Level Lock+ Connect over BLE for one-touch locking, or unlocking using a 4-6 digit code. In the lock itself, there is a Capacitive Touch Interaction that locks or unlocks your door by touching the outer bezel of the lock⎯it has a speaker on the lock to let you know when the door is unlocked, locked, or if something goes wrong.
Of course, there is also voice control, which is compatible with both Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. It even includes the Ring. An added bonus is that you can have a standard key, so if your phone dies⎯or your child’s phone dies⎯or if the power goes out, you’ll still have a way to open and lock your door. The lock works on both Wi-Fi (for smart assistants) and Bluetooth (for your phone), offering additional backup plans for unexpected times.
For guests, you can share keys by adding contacts, passes, NFC cards, or keypad codes through the app. If you have an event, such as a holiday party, birthday party, or Superbowl party, you can create a pass to share, setting a pass duration that works regardless of how long you expect people to enter and leave your home.
There are a number of helpful features that can be enabled through the app. Level Lock+ Connect can automatically lock when you leave home, and unlock when you arrive. You can set defaults to automatically lock or unlock your door based on certain times, or user activity. Using the app, you can control your key remotely while you’re away, so if you need to let someone in quickly, you can be sure you can do it.
