SUQQU Pure Colors Blushes (126) Yuribeni and (127) Nichirinka review
SUQQU Pure Colors Blushes (126) Yuribeni and (127) Nichirinka (£34.00 for 7.5 g/ 0.26 oz) are two new limited editions that make up part of SUQQU’s Pre-Summer 2021 Collection. If you are a regular on Chicprofile you know that my favorite is the 126 Yuribeni cover a subtle combination of pink flowers and soft peach to add a soft glide.

Today I am wearing 127 Nichirinka shade which is a a warm combination of golden yellow and muted orange to add a warm glow. Maybe too warm tone for my taste but nice nonetheless. Both shades are beautiful so it comes down to color preference.

Now let’s talk a little about pigmentation and texture. I’m not going to lie and say these are very pigmented and you’ll get a rich sheer coverage in one layer. SUQQU blushes were always buildable, adding a gradient layer of color so that this doesn’t leave anything behind. They work well with light and fair skin and I personally prefer to set my tan rather than swiping too much and working on breaking it out. I know this layering technique may not be suitable for someone with medium skin who doesn’t want to get the desired color from 3-4 layers.

SUQQU blushes are all about subtle color, fresh looking skin with that youthful look. The highlighters give a nice glow, nothing shiny or glittery. It’s about how color catches light and reflects it back.

PACKAGING
The notes on the package I don’t think are necessary anymore because they keep the same refined, subtle and beautiful, stylish case. Each brush comes with a small blush brush that does a great job of picking up the product and applying it to the cheeks. I used it several times when I was traveling….back in the day. 🙂
SUQQU Pure Colors Blushes (126) Yuribeni and (127) Nichirinka Live Swatches
I will start with SUQQU Pure Color Blush 126 Yuribeni which is my favorite. I replaced both the green and the highlights and gently blended them into the other watch to see the original look. You have it too LIVE view of both blushes in this Instagram post.

Now moving on to SUQQU Pure Color Blush 127 Nichirinka which is a warm toned blush. I was amazed at the difference in how the highlighter transitions and how it looks when blended on the cheeks. I have to say that the swatches of both the blush and the highlighter didn’t appeal to me but once applied to the cheeks or blended on the arm, the effect was really good.
These aren’t shades I’ll be using anytime soon because they’re not among my favorites but I can’t deny they can look flattering on a variety of skin tones. I can see these shades on olive skin tone, warm toned person and why not even deeper skin.

SUQQU Pure Color Blush (126) Yuribeni Review
SUQQU Pure Color Blush 126 Yuribeni (£34.00 for 7.5 g/ 0.26 oz) is a neutral, bright pink with a hint of cool, blue and soft peach, pink highlighter with a subtle satin finish. It had good color payoff in one coat but was buildable to full coverage in 2-3 coats.

Both the green and the highlighter are beautiful shades and blend well but you won’t get exact color in one swipe. If you like to put on a bold color and pick a lot of these fresh, bright pink cheeks you’ll love this. I love it so much because it’s that subtle baby pink that gives me a youthful glow, making me look fresh every time I wear it.

If you like something very big it will take patience to build up the color so I thought you should know. I thought this blusher was very similar to the previous limited edition SUQQU Pure Color Blush 107 Hoteribeni (review, swatches).

The texture is very soft, smooth and very light. It’s easy to blend and the highlighter gives this healthy, radiant glow that captures the light perfectly whenever you tilt your head. It is a blush/highlighter for everyday use. It does not stress pores or skin texture. On me it wore well for about 8 hours before it started to fade noticeably.

SUQQU Pure Color Blush (127) Nichirinka Review
SUQQU Pure Green Color 127 Nichirinka (£34.00 for 7.5 g/ 0.26 oz) is a light muted orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. The highlighter is a warm toned golden color with a satin sheen and natural sheen. Both had good color payoff in one layer but didn’t look too intense in one swipe.

As with the previous shades, you will have to build up the intensity of your desire. It can be very useful for someone with fair or light skin who does not want a strong color and a lot of pigmentation in one layer. I prefer to layer my cheek colors from greens to brights and even bronzers but I know some prefer more color straight up.

The consistency is very soft, smooth and silky to the touch. The colors blend well and sink into the skin without emphasizing pores or skin texture. I am wearing these shades again today while writing this review and when I look in the mirror I can see that they are warming up my complexion. I prefer cooler colored blushes but this one looks very summery while the highlighter gives off a golden glow.

I love SUQQU highlighters as they are not bright but have special techniques to capture the light and make you look fresh and stylish. On me this shade combination lasted about eight and a half hours before it started to fade.
