5 More Cable Management Solutions on Amazon

Everyone loves a clean desk setup, so I’m always on the lookout for new cable management products to spruce up my desk.

I recently purchased 5 of the top rated cable management products on Amazon to see if there was anything that could help take my organization to the next level.

TL;DR: 20 second decision

I bought five of Amazon’s best cable management products to streamline my desk organization. Here’s how trays, boxes, raceways and holders are raised.

  • Good: Pamo trays hold multiple cables and route them easily, Stageek’s raceway offers a very clean look for rack and rod mounting, and Anker’s magnetic holders are an incredibly useful desktop fix.
  • Cons: The Cable Garden wooden cover feels cheap and requires extra accessories, the Yecaye channel is short and lacks adhesive, and most of these need extra clips or sleeves to get the job done.

Bottom Line: Each of these can help, but match the product to your setup: trays and raceways for running under the desk, a garden box for floor clutter, and Anker holders for the cables you grab on a regular basis.

1. Pamo Under Desk Trays

Let’s start with Pamo Under Desk Trays. They are very high on Amazon and can be a great tool to help organize cable management. There are black, silver and white color options. Remember that prices are always changing and these items may go in and out of stock. There are two sizes available to accommodate your desk size of 34 and 51 inches. There are different ways to place them under the desk either in a row or in a row. You can deal with them in any way you see fit.

Attaching the tray itself is easy with a screwdriver, perfect for quick travel. For my own setup, I chose to face the Pamo trays from the back because I can easily slide my desk to access the cables if needed. These trays are quite large and can hold a good amount of weight. I got good and bad about that. The good thing is how you can move the wires in the open area easily and in all places. On the other hand, it doesn’t look as clean as other products I’ve tried.

2. Cable Field

Amazon’s next product is the Cable Garden that sits on the floor rather than attaching to a desk. This holds all your excess cables to give your setup a clean look. There are 3 boxes that come with this set. They are large enough that the power cord and most cables can be moved from a distance. Heat can escape through holes in the sides and the box itself is protected by a lid.

One thing I noticed was the fake looking wood on the top of the box, which makes this product look cheap. However, it is solid and has good functions. While using a low garden box, you will need some cable management to keep the cables from dangling. I used an Alex Tech Cable Sleeve to bundle and route them down. The downside of this product was how extra cable management was still needed to keep the cables together. It also took some time to organize all the cables at the desk level.

Another option is the D-Line Cable Management Box. The design is completely black and fits the Cable Garden box. It has many rounded corners and vents in the lid. This can be another option as you explore different cable management. Unfortunately, with this option, you will only get 1 box versus 3.

3. Stageek Cable Raceway Kit

Additionally, we have the Stageek Cable Raceway Kit. This particular kit is for people who want a great looking setup and don’t plan to change it often. I bought the same a few months ago and was happy with how they worked. I wanted to keep trying other products. The Stageek kit includes 9 race tracks and other items to satisfy your experience.

There are color options so depending on the color of your desk, you can choose accordingly. The first thing you want to do is attach the power strip to the bottom of the desk and make room for the race tracks. Next you will measure and figure out how many will fit on the desk. The best part about this product is the adhesive on the back which makes installation a breeze.

Also, this kit doesn’t come with everything to collect my cables so I had to add in Soulwit Cable Clips to lock my cables behind the desk. Once that was secured, I could move my cables to the racetracks. A nice feature with racetracks, the cables can go in at any time which keeps everything clean. Something to keep in mind, you always want to make sure that the size of your raceway will fit all of your cables.

4. Yecaye One Cord Channel

In addition, we have a unique feature called Yecaye One Cord Channel. This type of cable management can be used alone in routing cables or paired with other products. I first used this product when I wanted to hide my cables running down my mounted TV. It created a new look in my living space. Yecaye comes in handy when conditions do not allow you to hide the cables in the ceiling or wall.

The size of this product is small, so it is possible to install only 1, maybe 2 small wires inside the channel cable. One of the easiest things you can do is to paint the channels to match the color of your wall which I took it upon myself to do in our studio here at work. I had some questions on the top review though because there seemed to be a few hiccups.

I ended up having to put double sided tape on these to make them stick. I think it would have been better if it came pre-made. Another issue I found is that the raceways are very short so I had to put covers to connect them and make one continuous race. Another similar product is from Home Depot. It is a 5 ft long channel that can hide wires and comes with adhesive already on it.

5. Anker Magnetic Cable Holders

Last but not least are the Anker Magnetic Cable Holders which are a great way to keep cables under control. These sit on your desk. I tried the Velcro version, but I didn’t like it so I kept looking at it. I came across a magnet and was surprised at how much I liked them. There are 2 parts; desktop cable holder and 5 cable holders. There are different color options as well.

Amazon says the holder can stick to any surface, I tested it and it finally sticks to most surfaces. I recommend cleaning the area you plan to stick on and making sure it’s a horizontal and flat surface. I would only choose cables that you want to reach the arms and that are connected to them continuously. Magnetic holders can be used on the nightstand to charge devices.

The price seems a bit high, but I’m happy with the quality and they work as they should. I have put out different size cables and there is a limit to what it can hold. The charging ratio, USB cables and headphones fit perfectly. Another thing I have found to work are the Sinjimoru Magnetic Cable Clips.

The Bottom Line

Overall, even if you prefer one product over another; these Amazon products are sure to help you with all your cable management problems. Keep us in mind as we have some useful cable management tips.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the five products included?

A: Pamo Under Desk Trays, Cable Garden floor box, Stageek Cable Raceway Kit, Yecaye One Cord Channel, and Anker Magnetic Cable Holders.

Q: Which gives a clean look?

A: The Stageek race track, as it is sealed and peels and sticks in place. The trade-off is that it is less flexible once installed.

Q: Do these carry a power cord?

A: The Pamo trays and the Cable Garden box both fit the power line. Raceways don’t do that, so you turn the strip under the desk.

Q: Which ones are best for the cables I use regularly?

A: Anker’s magnetic holders, which sit on the desk and keep charging, USB, and headphone cables within easy reach.

Q: Do they come with everything you need?

A: Mostly no. Expect to add a sleeve (like Alex Tech), clips (like Soulwit), or tape to finish the job cleanly.
