Another week down, and, as usual, a bunch of new technology and gadgets have been announced.
This past week, Leica unveiled its most advanced full-frame camera, Meta announced its most affordable smart glasses, and Triange launched a range of new speakers. But that’s just scratching the surface.
Below, we’ve rounded up all the interesting new releases and announcements you might have missed over the past week.
Acoustic Energy AE2 (40 Year Plan)
Acoustic Energy has launched a limited-edition version of the AE2 standmount speaker to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary. Like the originals, which were discontinued in the early 2000s, they have two-way, reflex-ported vertical speakers equipped with three drivers: two woofers and a tweeter. But each speaker has been upgraded with “technological upgrades,” including newly developed woofer units and a tweeter drive. The Meta Glasses come in three styles: Adventurer, Fury and Starfire. The first two cost $299, while the third was designed with the help of Kylie Jenner and starts at $399.

Why?Wyze Scale BodyScan
Wyze’s Scale BodyScan is a smart scale positioned as a more affordable alternative to the company’s Ultra BodyScan, released last fall. Similarly, the Scale BodyScan has eight identical electrodes and a built-in grip system that allows it to track more metrics (including body weight, body fat, body age, basal metabolism and more) than just weight. The main trade-off with this affordable model is that it has a smaller display and lacks built-in Wi-Fi.
