If Urban Outfitters’ dangerous vanity wasn’t fun enough for you, good news: the brand just released an even funnier version. To the continued dismay of everyone on our editorial board, it will be sold before we have a chance to tell you about it.
So let’s not waste time. He met Stacie.
She is her younger, weird sister. Unlike the viral Jane, Stacie skips the coordinating seat that nestles nicely underneath (for about $400 less, I’ll let it slide) and instead relies on the space-saving storage feature that made the original so clever: the overhead mirror.

Stacie Wood Flip-Top Mirror Vanity
Frequent movers will be happy to know that the legs of this vanity table are removable, making the end of every rental less dire.
Fold the top down and it’s a clean workspace for answering emails or writing something. Flip it up again father! Hidden underneath is storage for makeup brushes, jewelry, and other pretty little things, crowned by a wave-shaped mirror that almost reads like a giant wooden flower.
It’s a useful little thing that catches your eye in every room, whether it’s a basic bedroom, a small dorm, or the kind of phone from your obligatory Instagram Story.
The consensus among the 4.8 star reviews? No one wants to spend $699 on something for nothing. No one regrets it.
Apart from offering a suitable (inexpensive) mirror-selfie angle, it is also, unlike the upholstered Jane, completely wooden. Every Stacie is naturally one-of-a-kind, lives up to the grain variations that only real wood offers, and gives you more freedom to mix and match any chair you like. As a stylist again Aquarius, I, for one, will happily take any excuse to inject a little personality into the room.
Could this new, less crowded silhouette be a better contender for summer 2026? Given our collective obsession with character, paleness, and perhaps not having anything quite like our neighbor, let’s just say I wouldn’t be surprised to see this resale for thousands on eBay in September.
The OG Viral Vanity
If you’re still longing for the original with a small bedroom, that makes you one of the more than 17,000 people who are already a favorite. Here are a few recently released upholstery options that haven’t sold out yet… yet.

Jane Upholstered Vanity & Stool Set in Rose
I love my furniture like I love my pants: made to perfection, and a little avant-garde. That bright white piping is a small detail, but it gives this rose-pink upholstery a completely different attitude.

Jane Upholstered Vanity & Stool Set in Moody Floral
Moody summer flowers? The doctor just said. This is the latest trend in the decline of new upholstery options since demand begins to increase in early 2025. It’s an unexpectedly beautiful way to furnish a room in the warmer months and, to my eyes, it looks more expensive than the original pink version.
O Home
Jane Upholstered Vanity & Stool Set in Polka Dot
The runways of Spring/Summer 2026 were full of polka dots, and Urban Outfitters, as always, followed in record time with this delicious hat from cream to chocolate. What’s trending now, never goes away.
Between the thoughtful silhouette and the naturally one-of-a-kind construction, the internet’s favorite little sister is hearing a lot in 2026.
