Review #2 []:
No official word yet on what’s going on with this strange issue, but we’ve all double-checked our accounts and they’re still in the clear with games.
So, it looks like Sony is aware of this situation, and its temporary fix is to disable certain features to prevent unknown games from appearing on PS5 profiles.
At this point it’s pretty clear that this is an issue on Sony’s part.
This thread, put together by X user @PorkPoncho, is perhaps the best explanation of what might have happened:
Actually, PlayStation uses different features to identify games in the background, and they serve different purposes. One of them is related to your game library, and is what is used to populate the Recently Played/Most Played sections of your profile.
It seems like there is some sort of vulnerability that would allow someone to enter fake data and make games appear in your feed, even though you’ve never interacted with them before.
All these things are going through my head a little bit, to be honest. Hopefully things will return to normal in time; I will update the article again when they do.
Review #1 []:
It looks like Sony is in the process of applying a bandwagon to its fraudulent network services, after PS5 owners noticed earlier today that games they don’t own have been mysteriously uploaded to their account.
The ‘Last played’ section of mine – and many others’ – has been completely erased, presumably while PlayStation fixes whatever problem.

It’s worth noting that there’s no evidence of any actual hacking going on here, but given Sony’s poor track record, we’ll be keeping an eye on this issue.
Original story: You may recall a rare security issue that surfaced a short time ago, where some PS5 accounts were compromised by tricking customer service representatives into granting access.
However, while it seems like Sony is tightening things up, some users are reporting strange occurrences on their PSN profiles, and it’s more of a mystery than the latest security scare.
This Reddit thread features several people who claim that games they haven’t bought or downloaded, let alone played, appear on their profiles.
In the original post example, it shows a game called Sex Shop Simulator as the user’s most recently played game.
Reddit user xviixvo not only explains that this is not true, but the game is not available for purchase or download through its PS Store listing. In other words, it is unlikely that they have ever played it.
In the comments, the same user shared another screenshot, this time showing a game called Hentai Princess, which I know doesn’t have a public PS Store page at all.
Other games reportedly coming include Avatar Island, Sex Shop Simulator, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Germany Quiz.
I don’t see any such activity on my profile, but there are enough people talking about it that it seems legit.
While we don’t have an explanation for what exactly is going on here, this issue has once again raised concerns about PlayStation security.
From where I sit, it looks like it might be some kind of mistake; the fact that some games aren’t publicly available suggests to me that it’s some kind of slip-up from the platform manager.
The problem is, Sony does not want to say anything even in the best cases, so it is unlikely that we will get a proper explanation about this strange phenomenon. That being said, I will contact the company and will update when I hear back.
