Back in September of 2025, Xbox added a new feature called “Offers and Credits” where you can access free gift cards and other benefits in one place, and it’s being talked about again this week because of Forza Horizon 6.
If you happened to pre-order the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition or the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Upgrade Bundle (maybe because you wanted early access?) from the Microsoft Store between January and the release date, most people should get a free Xbox gift card and a FH6 car voucher through the Offers and Credits section.
Here are how the terms and conditions describe the offer:
*Offer valid for purchase at Microsoft Store online from 12:00 am PST January 22, 2026 to 11:59 PM EST May 18, 2026 while supplies last in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czechia, Hong Kong, Germany, Germany Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, and the United Kingdom.
Customers who purchase the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition or the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Upgrade Bundle at Microsoft Stores will also receive a promotional digital Xbox gift card and a Forza Horizon 6 Car Voucher 4.”
It is mentioned here that eligible buyers should receive a pop-up notification about the free gift card and Car Voucher 4 on their Xbox console within 35 days of the FH6 launch, although it seems that some people have not yet had this.
Xbox has used this trick in other games recently. Sea of Thieves recently offered gift cards to fans of that title, Gears of War: IE-Day will be offering an Xbox gift card, open beta access and two skins to anyone who pre-orders from the Microsoft Store before October 6, and 007 First Light recently offered players an Xbox gift card for playing the game on the Xbox PC app for at least 10 minutes.

In the case of 007 First Light, Xbox also says the gift card will arrive within 35 days of purchase, which means it should appear in Offers & Credits sometime in late June or early July at the latest.

- Scroll to the left menu and hover your game tag up
- The “Profile” submenu should appear with “Donations and Credits” as one of the options
- Go in there, and see if there’s anything in the “Active” section that you can use
