The PS5's NTE's Big Update Will Let It Silence Its Worst Character

The free-to-play open world game’s first major NTE update is coming on June 3rd, and here’s the biggest news: you’ll be able to tame the annoying otter Taygedo if, like me, those who are sick of his sh*t.

Chinese dev Hotta almost got the a lot of feedback about this annoying bug, so going forward you won’t need to hear repeated voice lines. Thank god for that!

Apparently this review has a a lot more important things to it, including the previously announced Porsche title collaboration. You will be able to unlock the Porsche 918 Spyder and a themed outfit for the protagonist Zero as part of the new gacha, which will accept Annulith or Phones.

A new area called Sunward Island will be added as part of the update, along with a new story mission called Dreamwalk Corridor. This will include the previously teased opposition The Scarlet Letter, so we’ll be learning a lot about the world of Heatherau as a whole.

In addition, two new playable characters will appear: Lacrimosa and Chaos. They both have new outfits and open world jobs attached to them, and the former has five great outfits on her own.

Hotta also adds new gameplay features and functions, such as an active in-game social media feed, where you’ll be able to share your photos and get likes, like a real Instagram.

Likewise, a new Mario Kart-style fighting mode called Underground Circuit and a mini online fighting game called Fight Club will debut. You will be able to play these online.

Various other events and activities will cycle in and out throughout v1.1, including double rewards, free draws, and more.

In addition to various bug fixes and gameplay improvements, the studio says it’s improving the controller experience, so hopefully things feel good. a lot better for DualSense when the update drops.
