Update: As mentioned, we update this feature every month, and now it’s ready for May. We removed a few games, added a few, and changed a few dates for games like Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
As 2026 kicks into gear, it’s time to look ahead to what this year has in store for us! There are hundreds and hundreds of games coming to Xbox in 2026, and we’ve whittled the current list down to 30 Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S titles that we’re looking forward to this year as things stand.
We do this every year, of course, but things are a little different for the 2026 version. Firstly, we only stick to the official descriptions rather than just gushing about each game ourselves – this means we have more time to keep updating the article with new additions (and removing old ones) every month, which should hopefully be useful as the year goes on. You’ll find trailers for each game in this huge list, or you can click on the game pages for more information and other news articles we’ve written for you.
As mentioned, this is far from the games released on Xbox this year, and in addition to this article, we provide weekly and monthly guides to track them all. There’s also a guide to Xbox Game Pass 2026 which apparently focuses on all the Game Pass titles announced this year.
Let’s compare 30 Xbox Series X|S games we can expect in 2026!
