Why we love this AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X deal
A large number of core production
24 CPUs and 48 processing threads provide massive parallel processing power for complex projects. This means faster delivery times and professional assembly speeds. It’s designed to crush heavy loads that would freeze standard consumer CPUs.
Effective architectural design
The latest Zen 5 architecture improves instructions per clock compared to previous generations. This results in faster response even between single-threaded operations. Players may not take full advantage of this power, but creators certainly will.
Platform requirements and development
You will need a compatible TRX50 motherboard to use this processor. This platform supports high-speed memory and multiple PCIe lanes for multiple GPUs or storage drives. It’s the setup you want that offers the best development for professionals.

What to consider before buying
This processor generates a lot of heat so you will need a solid liquid cooling solution. The total cost of ownership is high because the motherboard and RAM are also expensive. Most games do not benefit from these many characters compared to the cheaper Ryzen 9 chips. You should only buy this if your particular software can use all the cores effectively. That said, it’s a very good price for a top-tier workstation.
