Tractive Insurance and Uelzener are partnering to allow policyholders in certain plans to receive reimbursement for their subscription fees for Tractive is a major step in pet care protection.
Linz, Austria / Uelzen, Germany, March 2026 – Today, Uelzener Versicherungen, one of the most established pet insurance companies in Germany, and Tractive, the world’s leading provider of GPS and Health Monitoring for dogs and cats, announced a new partnership to support early detection and preventive health care for pets throughout Germany.
Starting in March 2026, eligible Uelzener customers can receive a refund of the cost of their Tractive subscription once a year.
By covering the registration costs, Uelzener will give pet owners in Germany access to reliable GPS tracking and daily (data-based) health information for their pets.
This approach sets a new standard for how insurance and technology can work together to prioritize preventive care. Using Tractive’s health features, including Health Alerts and resting heart and respiratory rate monitoring, Uelzener aims to help pet parents detect potential health problems early and seek treatment sooner. The ultimate goal: healthy pets, fewer incidents, and a transition to pet care.
