Hello, it’s me, once again I wish you all the best in the new year. Thank you so much for being here in your inbox or in your search results with helpful, practical, and inspiring advice for a good year and a healthy life.

Advice for More Consistency
Experts say the key to lasting change is consistency.
If you’re changing one thing this year, it’s probably the way you microwave leftovers and food. It is no exaggeration that this kitchen tip can change your life.
Microwaves work best on the outer edges of food that is being warmed or cooked. This is why the plate is too hot to handle when the center is still cold.
You know how you usually roll up your scraps like a mini-volcano, and put them in the microwave?
Visualize that, then do the opposite. 🙂
It works in many dishes such as pasta, grains, and rice.

Cut your cooking time significantly and cook food evenly by digging a hole in the middle of the food and spreading it around the edges.

Or, if you are reheating baked goods, cut them into pieces and spread them around the edges of the plate, leaving a space in between.

This may look like a little kid’s plate where food can’t be touched, but it’s just the best way to heat food in the microwave.

It even works with roly-poly foods like peas. The key is to push the food to the edges and leave that little space free in the middle.

It doesn’t work well with soups, except for those like stew. Did you miss the latest article on one of my favorites, no-fuss lentil soup?
Advice for Easier Email Editing

Now, let’s clean your email in the time it takes to make a microwave dinner.
I have tons of ways to make email easier, faster, and better, too.
For example, what if you could start with a clean email inbox in about one minute, without changing your email address? (‘Cause changing emails is such a hassle!)
What if I could help you delete 100 emails each day…in less than a minute?
What if you could cut the number of emails you have to deal with every day in half…or more?
What if your multiple email addresses could be magically combined for easy access…but stay separate, too?
Would any of this make it easier for you to deal with your work emails, stay in touch with friends, pay bills on time, and feel better about yourself?
Is your ADHD pre-existing?
Then please join me in the Therapy email class starting January 13, 2026.

This class is for you if you want (or NEED) to get out of email jail and get things done this year.

I have been teaching this class for years. I almost didn’t put it on the calendar, but then I remembered what one of the class participants shared last year. He told the class that he didn’t realize how old he was unorganized, a lot inbox was holding her back in many other things in his life.
Getting his email under control made room for other things he wanted to accomplish.
I LOVED hearing that!
Perhaps best of all, you don’t need to buy any new software. In fact, you may even be able to cancel applications and save money after taking this class.

If you need help planning NOW, right nowbefore the New Years vibes wear off, to help you get organized this year, borrow my “first of the month” planning tips.
Packing the habit works. I started years ago by changing my contacts on the first day of the month. Then I added other small processes, connecting them in a way that felt natural and not overwhelming.
