Iron Grip manufactures their urethane coated dumbbells in their US manufacturing facilities. Handles come in a choice of straight, straight, or extra thick. As shown in the picture, they offer custom logo engraving.
Their website does not have an online store, not because they are old but because they prefer to sell sets of weights to commercial and institutional buyers on a per quote basis. You can definitely contact them to buy your garage gym set, if you can afford it. Normally I wouldn’t include a company that is hard to buy from, but it has been around for a long time and deserves a place here.

Golden’s is an old site in Baton Rouge, LA that makes kamado grills and fire pits. In 2020 they started making dumbbells to deal with the lack of exercise equipment.
Their pictures show dumbbells up to 100lb, but so far they’ve only done up to 50lb.

A new company established in 2021.
MUTT has developed a dumbbell with unique ergonomically designed handles that are easy to hold firmly in your hands and prevent unwanted rotation. They also say it’s good for people who have nerve compression problems in their hands.

Intek has 2 dumbbell models in the USA. The Delta was the original and was made of stainless steel, with self-leveling end caps on the top right.
The Kraft is their latest model, made of stainless steel that will develop a patina over time just like green steel barbells. These are currently available in large sets, not individual pairs.

Rogue Dumbbell Handles

Rogue olympic dumbbell handles are more expensive compared to dumbbell handles made in China, but they are also made of better materials and have a thicker handle than the standard 25mm (1″) Chinese made handle.
The DB-15 is 20.5″ long, which is closer to the standard 20″. The DB-10 is only 14.25″ tall.
The DB-15 you can load to about 120lb each using the smallest 10lb steel plates available, or even more with the Rogue steel plates.

Black Widow Training Gear was founded in 2009 in a shed and now has a full facility in Holbrook, NY where they make all kinds of unique strength equipment.
This is a surprisingly low price for dumbbell handles made in the USA, but note that they are 1-piece construction with non-rotating sleeves.
