Feel the difference in your running from heel to toe with Rough Runners custom made EVA. It provides cushioning and rebound with better durability than other running shoes. Gradient Density™ means EVA has more bounce under the balls of your feet and gradually stabilizes towards your heel. At 330g/sqm, the surface is light and the perfect balance of weight and durability. The seamless, one-piece 100D polyester mesh provides breathability and flexibility without hurting your toes. A protective TPU film is reinforced in high-wear areas, while the toe areas are targeted for abrasion resistance and the mid-heel area for added cushioning support. Whether it’s on the trail or rough terrain, the flexible outsole can take on any challenge you throw at it.
It has two different rubber compounds that create a seamless rubber outsole that works even on the most demanding surfaces. The rubber forefoot is designed for grip, and the heel is dense, durable, and won’t wear out after miles of running or rack running. The 10mm heel-to-toe drop gives you enough height to reduce pressure on your achilles and support your heel strike to control your rhythm. The perfect balance between running distance and racking speed. The 3D molded heel lock is comfortable while tightening the heel lock to prevent slipping and excessive movement at the ankle.
This secures your heel to the shoe without having to rely on the laces locking or tying too tightly. A naturally molded TPU heel counter cushions your feet and stabilizes your heel when performing vigorous, load-bearing exercises. You have three arches in your feet—the medial longitudinal arch, the lateral longitudinal arch, and the anterior traverse arch. All three arches are supported by custom-made PU foam inserts. You can stay safe while on the toughest trails with a reflective pull tab on the back heel that keeps you visible on the road or trail. Upper eyelids can produce a tight heel lock, runner’s loop, or lace lock to stop heel slippage and excessive ankle motion.
